If you run your own mail server, the most reliable way to make it
work with email clients is to publish an
autoconfig file
at
/.well-known/autoconfig/mail/config-v1.1.xml on your domain.
To set up a profile with a third-party classic email provider, you may need the "advanced settings" during profile creation. Please consult your provider for the required server settings.
Yahoo
Needs preparation.
To use your Yahoo email address you have to create an app password in the Yahoo account security screen. There you will find a setting titled “Generate app password”. Please use it to generate an app password. Then enter the generated password in the app.
